Sushi Shop Belleville

I don't usually leave reviews but sometimes when the experience is great and the food is even better, hell ya, I'll leave a review. I love Sushi and everything that goes with it. I lived in the Barrie area for many years and a lot of the restaurants were superb. I moved to Belleville in 2024 and I just love it, especially the people. Even Devon's review has had some logistical issues but he/she says "it always takes ages." That's a repeat customer in my mind. They never say anything about the quality and freshness of the food which is bonus. It sounds like a busy spot. I frequent Centrepoint Plaza a lot. For 6 months I wouldn't enter the place because I cook most of our meals at home and use fresh ingredients, plus my better 1/2 thinks that sushi comes from raw fish out of the Bay. Too funny! One day I was in a hurry and staving so I had to give it a shot. I was in such a hurry that when they said it will take 15 minutes to prepare I thought, I don't have that kind of time today, sorry. Then I was told there are some platters in the fridge. I was about to say "no thanks" because I can be a little narrow minded sometimes and a sushi platter from a fast food fridge was not in my sights. Just before I was about to eat some crow, I took a closer look at the platters and bought 2. I ate them both and they were f-bomb great! I couldn't believe it. Albeit I was hungry but my expectations went through the charts. I next time I went in I wasn't in a hurry. There were a couple of folks ahead of me and they were gone before I finished looking at the menu. To slow for some of you. I thought, if you can make this just like the food in the photos, I'll be impressed. I stuck to the basics of Sashimi, some cool Maki rolls and some crispy Philly/smoked salmon rolls. So good! Everything was awesome. I'm licking my chops just writing this review. And for the record, I'm not affiliated with anyone from there. It's now June '25 and for my 3rd time, I ate inside. And again, more bombs! lol

They take great care of us here! They make amazing food and we are totally confident in their ability to look after us, even with our allergies. This is my daughter's favourite restaurant by far. I totally recommend eating here!

Great Food, Great Customer service. Catered to my allergies so I was able to enjoy fresh delicious food. Definitely returning soon.
