September 8, at around 5:00 PM, I came into Sushi Shop Pointe-Claire as an Uber Eats driver to pick up a delivery. While I was there, I also decided to order some food for myself. During the interaction, the man working there became upset with me and called me the N-word. As a Black Canadian, I was shocked and deeply offended. What made the situation even worse was that he then told his wife, “Give the N-word the food,” referring to me. I left feeling extremely hurt, disrespected, and upset. No customer, delivery driver, or anyone else should ever be spoken to this way because of their race. I’m sharing this because what happened to me was completely unacceptable, and I believe people deserve to know about the way I was treated during my visit.

Huge shoutout to this place. Walked in at 8:55 PM right before their 9:00 PM closing time, and they still happily took my order. The lady was incredibly sweet and accommodating. This is how you run a business, unlike the Sushi Shop on Sources. Highly recommend.
